AI Ranking Engineer

About This Role

We're hiring an AI Ranking Engineer to build and optimize machine learning models that power candidate and job matching at our AI-first recruiting platform. You'll own the design, implementation, and deployment of ranking algorithms that determine search relevance, candidate fit scoring, and job recommendations—directly impacting how thousands of recruiters find top talent across Europe. This is a high-impact role where your work in NLP, learning-to-rank, and recommendation systems will directly influence product performance and user outcomes.

Requirements

• Build and deploy machine learning ranking models in production B2B SaaS environments
• Design and optimize learning-to-rank pipelines for relevance and matching tasks
• Write production-grade Python code with strong testing and documentation practices
• Collaborate with product and data teams to define ranking metrics and business objectives
• Implement feature engineering, model evaluation, and A/B testing frameworks
• Manage model lifecycle including training, validation, monitoring, and retraining
